Traintheinspector.com is an innovative and unique Coating Inspector training programme which has been written and developed by industry experts.

The online training covers all aspects of surface preparation, coating application and coating inspection.

The training course covers all the activities in surface treatments and will allow successful students to achieve a certificate of completion or progress onto accredited qualifications in the coatings industry.

The course is accredited by the Institute of Corrosion for Levels 1, 2 and 3 Coatings Inspector.

The Training course is also approved by various Classification Societies such as Lloyds, ABS, DNV etc and is recognised as an ‘equivalent’ qualification and meets the requirements of the IMO Resolution MSC.215(82) – Performance Standard for Protective Coatings (PSPC).

Training units consist of theoretical training followed by student assessments.

Trainers

The training material is conducted with the use of the TrainTheInspector app which is downloaded by the approved trainers via the site (after login).

This website also contains useful tools and information to complement the training course and a full set of student handout notes that accompany the training can be downloaded, saved or printed.

The website can also be used in lieu of the training app, if preferred, when an internet connection is available.
